18 Black-owned companies have cut ties with disgraced music mogul Sean “Puffy” Combs amid growing public backlash.

A California hotel surveillance video from 2016 shows Combs abusing ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura.

According to Rolling Stone, a total of 18 Black-owned brands confirmed that they have severed ties with Combs’s online marketplace for Black-owned businesses.

Ashli Goudelock, founder of Black-owned luxury skin-care brand Tsuri, says her company “unequivocally seeks to terminate” its association with Empower Global. “As a women-owned and -led company, we do not and will not linger in a gray area about the mistreatment of women.”

Annette Azan, founder of undergarment and shapewear line Nuudii System, says she also terminated her Empower Global account. And Lenard Grier, co-founder of No One Clothiers, says his company has distanced itself from the eCommerce site as well.

In addition to Black-owned companies, Combs was dropped by several corporations.
