50 Cent filed a lawsuit against his ex Daphne Joy for accusing him of rape and physical abuse amid the ongoing custody battle of their 12-year-old son, Sire.
In his lawsuit, exclusively obtained by Us Weekly, 50 Cent, born Curtis Jackson, said Daphne made a “purposeful attempt to, on information and belief, destroy his personal and business reputation, harm Jackson’s commercial and business interests, negatively affect his custody case, and prevent him from seeing his minor son.”
Fiddy claimed Daphne subjected him “to extensive public ridicule, hatred, and contempt”.
Jackson seeks to “vindicate his rights and protect his reputation” from Daphne’s “calculated attack.” He is also seeking punitive and exemplary damages for “severe harm” caused by Daphne’s “false and defamatory statements.”
In March, Jackson mocked Daphne, whose name was mentioned in a 25-page amendment to a lawsuit filed in a NY federal court.
In the amended lawsuit, music producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones claimed that music mogul Sean Combs “bragged about having several women on a monthly stipend” for s*x work.
Jackson took to X/Twitter and wrote, “I didn’t know you was a s*x worker … you little s*x worker. LOL Yo this sh*t is a movie.”
“Everything is a joke to you until our safety is compromised, which is happening now,” Daphne responded. “You are wreaking real havoc, frenzy, and chaos onto people’s lives. How would u feel if Sire was the one in handcuffs? For nothing.”
“Let’s put the real focus on your true evil actions of r*ping me,” she told Jackson. “You are no longer my oppressor and my God will handle you from this point on,” she added.
She turned her attention to Jones’ lawsuit against Combs.
“I am deeply Hurt by the lies in Rodney Jones’ lawsuit,” she continued. “The claim that I am a s*x worker is 100% false and character assassination. I am retaining an attorney to explore all legal remedies against both Rodney and his attorney.”
