Ben Affleck hasn’t been in touch with Jennifer Lopez’s 16-year-old twins, Emme and Maximillian Muniz, since he split from their mother earlier this year.
Lopez shares her fraternal twins with singer Marc Anthony.
Lopez, 55, filed for divorce from Affleck on July 16 after 2 years of marriage. They married in Las Vegas on July 16th, 2022.
A source tells PEOPLE that the “Hustlers” actress is still in contact with Affleck’s kids, Violet, 18, Seraphina Rose, 15, and Samuel, 12, whom he shares with ex-wife Jennifer Garner.

But he hasn’t seen Emme or her brother in months.
“The fact that he has not seen her kids in a long time, it’s like he left, but she is especially close to his kids,” the source said. The source noted Lopez’s attendance at Samuel’s graduation ceremony in June. And Violet spent a week with the pop singer during her Hamptons vacation in July.
“But she’s also close to Marc’s kids from [his] previous relationship,” the source adds of Marc Anthony’s 2 other children.
“She keeps in touch with [Marc’s] children and she’s a good mom.”
Another source tells PEOPLE that Lopez grew tired of Affleck’s unpredictable mood swings. The source said his mood swings drove a wedge between them.
“The truth is there was a great deal of love but also unfortunately what became clear were Ben’s erratic mood swings that he couldn’t hide from the press, as much as he tried to.”
The source explained that Affleck would go from “being incredibly happy and warm to exhibiting “the deepest, darkest behavior.”
Affleck is rumored to be a raging alcoholic.
