Beyonce Knowles-Carter named her new whiskey line after her 7-year-old son Sir Carter. The pop singer launched the new whiskey line with Moët Hennessy.
Beyonce, 42, named the dark liquor brand “Sir Davis,” after her son, Sir, and her great-grandfather whose first name was Davis.
The mom-of-3 shared a shot of herself holding a glass of whiskey in an Instagram post on Tuesday. She captioned the post with lyrics from her 2024 song “Bodyguard,” “Davis in my bones.” She also provided a link to the dark liquor brand’s website sirdavis.com.
Beyonce’s fans can pre-order a 750ml bottle of Sir Davis for $89.99 on the website.
Beyonce penned a letter to her late great-grandfather on the website.
She writes, “I feel you in the landscapes. Your laughter rolling in the rye. What songs did you sing? What gaps did you fill? Great-grandfather, did you dream of me? Your legacy is a force that drives me. For you, I raise my glass to legacy.”
Beyonce and rapper Jay Z welcomed Sir and his fraternal twin sister, Rumi, in June 2017.
