Claudia Jordan finally confirmed her web series “Tea G-I-F” is canceled.
“I tried y’all, I really did,” Jordan wrote on social media. “Unfortunately, Tea-GIF will NOT be returning to Fox Soul after our hiatus. 2019-2024. What a run! Soul mates I love you and you already know I’ll never stop pushing to give y’all more shows in the future.”
Sandrarose.com was first to report the cancelation. The web series went on hiatus after Jordan and co-host Armon Wiggins exchanged words with co-host Al Reynolds.
Reynolds, who is openly gay, was upset that guest Luenell asked him if he told Jones that he preferred back rubs from men.
A flustered Reynolds responded, “Oh, my goodness. I have never been not truthful with anybody that I’ve dated.”
His response implied that Jones knew he was gay but she married him anyway.
A source revealed to Sandrarose.com that “Tea G-I-F” co-hosts and guests were banned from mentioning Jones’ name on the show.
Reynolds was reportedly very upset and he called former co-host Funky Dineva to vent his frustration.
Allegedly, D’Artagnan Bebel, general manager and head of programming at Fox Soul, grew tired of Reynolds running to him with complaints about Jordan and Wiggins.
Bebel suspended the show in the hopes that the parties would settle their differences. But Reynolds was over it.
Reynolds has his own YouTube show, and he wants to focus on growing his viewers over there.
Jordan went on Carlos King’s podcast and cried hot tears. “I still have some hope to save my baby,” she said, referring to her talk show.
