Elon Musk said his Optimus robots can do anything you want. They will be able to mow your lawn, shop for your groceries, and even babysit your kids.
Participants were in awe of the Optimus robots who walked among the guests. One robot held a conversation with rapper 2 Chainz. The rapper reportedly placed a pre-order for several of the high-tech robots.

The online excitement for the Optimus robots matches the debut of iPhones in the U.S. in 2007.
But the robots will come at a steep price. Elon expects the cost to be around $20-30,000 each! Eventually the price will decline so that everyone can own their own robot.
Elon said his Optimus is “going to be awesome.” His long-term goal is for Optimus to be “the biggest product ever of any kind.”
Elon’s beer-pouring Optimus robot was a big hit at the event. A human remotely assisted the Optimus to mix and serve drinks for delighted guests. The robots are not completely autonomous, meaning their movements are controlled remotely by humans.

Elon is working on making the Optimus robots completely autonomous. When that happens, humans can sit back and watch their robots do all the cooking and house cleaning.
Wouldn’t it be great to have a housekeeper that does windows and is willing to work hard without complaining?

Optimus make me a drink, please.
This is not wholly AI. A human is remote assisting.
Which means AI day next year where we will see how fast Optimus is learning. pic.twitter.com/CE2bEA2uQD
