Former Dolphins and Colts cornerback Vontae Davis has been found dead in his South Florida mansion, police said. The two-time Pro Bowler was 35.

Fort Lauderdale police found Davis’ body in his $3.6 million mansion after an assistant called 911 Monday morning. No foul play is suspected.

“We are heartbroken by the sudden passing of former Dolphins CB Vontae Davis and extend our deepest condolences to his family & loved ones during this difficult time,” the Dolphins wrote in a statement on social media.

Davis played three seasons for Miami before being traded to Indianapolis just before the 2012 season. He famously retired during halftime of his final game with the Colts.

Davis made headlines last year when police dash cam video showed him curled up asleep on the side of a highway following a traffic accident.

The police report said Davis plowed his black Tesla sedan into a Toyota pickup truck stopped on the shoulder of Florida’s Turnpike.

He was arrested and charged with DUI.

Davis promoted his children’s book in his final Instagram post last week.
