Music producer Irv Gotti has been sued by a Florida woman who alleges he sexually assaulted her in Miami, Saint Martin and Atlanta.
Gotti, real name Irving Lorenzo Jr., is named in a lawsuit filed in Miami-Dade on July 11, the Miami New Times reports.
The woman, identified in court papers as “Jane Doe,” claims Gotti assaulted and abused her on several occasions from 2020 to 2022.
“As a result of this sexually abusive relationship, Plaintiff has suffered severe emotional and psychological harm for which she had to be committed to a psychiatric ward. These injuries continue and affect Plaintiff to this day.”
The woman alleges that she and Gotti met through a mutual friend at a poker tournament in the summer of 2020. Gotti flew her to Saint Martin for an all-expenses paid vacation.
But Doe claims the 54-year-old producer forced her to have sex with him, threatening to send her home if she didn’t.
“Due to his power and influence in the music world, she complied,” the lawsuit stated.
After the trip to Saint Martin, the woman and Gotti began dating, according to the lawsuit.
The suit claims that during their two-year relationship, she “suffered constant abuse” at the hands of the rap mogul, who demanded that she perform unwanted sexual acts and berated her.
She said Gotti flew her to Miami in January 2022. They stayed at the Four Seasons Hotel, where he forced her to perform oral sex on him in the elevator.
A similar incident occurred in Atlanta that summer. He allegedly forced her to perform oral sex on him in an Uber.
Their relationship ended after that incident.
The lawsuit also alleges that Gotti has slandered the woman to his “vast social network in and around Los Angeles.”
Gotti co-founded Murder Inc. Records, home to hip-hop artists Ja Rule, Ashanti, Charli Baltimore, Lloyd, and Cadillac Tah, among others.
