Jonathan Majors is an employed actor for the first time since his domestic assault conviction last year.

On December 18, 2023, Majors was convicted on 2 counts of assaulting his ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabarri. He was acquitted of a third charge.

Majors, 34, was fired from Disney’s Marvel Cinematic Universe. He was sentenced in April to one year of domestic violence counseling.

He must also complete a 52-week in-person anger management program in Los Angeles.

The disgraced actor’s career was in shambles when he began dating fellow actress Megan Good. She helped him rehabilitate his public image by showing women that he is not violent towards her.

Now Majors is set to star in the independent revenge thriller “Merciless,” according to Variety.

“Merciless” is being developed at Sentient by producer Christopher Tuffin. He “refuses to let the court of public opinion and selective prosecution undermine great art and artists.”

“I consider it an honor and a privilege to be working with such a great talent now that this matter has been adjudicated,” Tuffin said in a statement.
