Sean Combs is celebrating a legal victory after a cartel member’s defamation lawsuit was thrown out of court.

A judge dismissed a Sinaloa cartel member’s lawsuit against Combs for ruining his drug business.

The lawsuit, filed in the Southern District of New York, was dismissed by Chief U.S. District Judge Laura Taylor Swain on August 12.

The case was filed by cartel member Alfredo P. Gonzalez, who is currently incarcerated in Colorado.

Gonzalez claimed Combs and his associates ruined his reputation in New York’s criminal underworld by ordering minors for his white parties.

Gonzalez claimed his injuries stemmed from Combs’ alleged illegal activities.

Gonzalez said that after he declined Combs’ request for minors, he was told his life would be made “hell”. Gonzalez further alleged that Combs’ “power” in the streets led to the loss of his drug business contacts.

However, Judge Swain dismissed Gonzalez’s lawsuit on multiple grounds. The judge found the lawsuit to be frivolous, lacking “an arguable basis either in law or in fact.”

The judge also denied Gonzalez’s ability to amend his complaint, stating that the defects in his lawsuit could not be amended.
