Keke Wyatt is suing a Georgia jeweler for refusing to replace two used Rolex watches that fell apart after she wore them. “This is how they wanna play,” Keke said on Instagram Live from the jewelry store.
The R&B singer says she purchased 2 Rolexes from the Diamond Ring Company at the Arbor Place Mall in Douglassville, Ga.
“They let me buy two Rolexes from them and they falling apart,” the 42-year-old singer said. “And they don’t wanna swap the sh… they don’t wanna help a ni**a out,” she continued.
“And all I asked these people to do was swap some sh*t out – give me something new, make it better, and they won’t even. It’s like nothing.”
Keke went on to say she has been a loyal customer for 7 years and she bought all her jewelry from them. “And this is how they repay me when all they gotta do is just swap the sh*t out.”
Keke pointed to a 2-tone Rolex lady Datejust watch in the display case. “It’s supposed to look like that,” she said, referring to the watch she bought. Keke’s watch is faded and the diamond chips have lost their brilliance.
“Y’all see that sh*t? I’m tripping right? I’m crazy right? Yeah, watch when this sh*t end up on The Shaderoom,” she said, referring to a popular Instagram blog.
Keke picked up another Rolex and said, “This is supposed to be a Rolex and the Rolex is upside down. It’s completely upside down. Y’all see this, right? Am I tripping or is it upside down?”
She continued: “And then they got the nerve to tell me ‘Go to the Rolex store.’”
Keke stopped short of saying the jeweler sold her bootleg Rolexes.
