Kevin Spacey admits he was “too handsy” with young men who accused him of sexual assault. Spacey also said that he’s guilty of “pushing the boundaries” in the past.
Spacey, 64, broke down in tears and said he owes “many millions” in legal fees. He said he’s losing his Baltimore home to bankruptcy.
“I’m absolutely 150% prepared to take accountability for those things and mistakes that I made,” he told Piers Morgan Uncensored on YouTube.
Last year, Spacey was acquitted of seven counts of sexual assault during a trial in London. He previously pleaded not guilty to all of the charges.
In 2022, a New York jury found “The Usual Suspects” actor not liable for battery. Actor Anthony Rapp claimed Spacey picked him up and laid on top of him after a party in 1986.
The 2-time Oscar winner is accused of making a sexual advance when Rapp was 14 and Spacey was 26.
He was also accused of groping an 18-year-old boy at a Massachusetts bar in 2016. But those charges were dropped in 2019 after the accuser refused to testify.
Spacey will face a civil trial in the U.K. next year after he was sued by a man who claims the actor sexually assaulted him.
Spacey admitted that he committed “bad behavior” by “touching someone sexually in a way that I didn’t know at the time they didn’t want.”
“I agree that the word ‘grope’ is a very odd word. I personally, I have caressed people. I have been gentle with people,” he told Morgan.
“I will never behave in the ways that I did previously, ever,” Spacey said.
