Keyshia Ka’oir rushed to defend her husband, Gucci Mane, after one of his former artists died of a drug overdose.
Channing Nicole Larry, a.k.a. Enchanting, died on Tuesday from a drug overdose. The 26-year-old aspiring rapper was a former artist on Gucci Mane’s 1017 Records label.
Gucci (real name Radric Davis) announced Enchanting’s untimely death in an Instagram post on Tuesday.
“So sad to have to say R.I.P to such a great young lady a true star we gone all miss you Chant @luvenchanting,” he captioned a photo of her.
Enchanting lingered on life support in an ICU before passing away.
False death rumors swept social media on Monday. Many said she was “jinxed” because bad luck follows Gucci Mane’s artists.
An Internet meme posted on X/Twitter on Monday shows Gucci Mane posing with six of his 8 artists.
Of the eight artists, 2 are dead, 3 are serving prison time, two were dropped from the label, and one is facing RICO charges.
Keyshia is not here for the Guwop disrespect. She hopped into Gucci’s comment section on Instagram.
Enchanting signed to Gucci Mane’s 1017 Records label in 2020. “She appeared on 3 compilation albums before she left the label in 2023,” according to New York’s Hot 97 radio station.
