LeBron James’ wife Savannah James sat down with Tamron Hall to discuss her challenges as a wife to an NBA superstar and mother of three.
Savannah, 38, is aware of the longstanding rumors that LeBron, 39, cheated on her over the decades. They met in high school in Akron, Ohio, and she became a teenage mom when their first son, Bronny, was born in 2004.
Hall commented on a statement Savannah made to Harper’s Bazaar magazine earlier this year. Savannah stated the need to prioritize herself to preserve her mental health.
“If I’m working from a glass half empty, I’m not good to anybody,” Savannah told Harper’s Bazaar. “We are maestros; we do a lot, and we need it sometimes.”
“You said, ‘If I’m working from a glass half empty, I’m not good to anybody.’ That, again, is a bold statement,” Hall told Savannah. “How did you cope with that feeling?”
Savannah responded, “I think it was acknowledgment, knowing that sometimes I felt depleted and I wasn’t being the best version of a mother, of myself … [to] my husband.”
“It was just hard to be fully present,” she added. “So, I started to disappear. This was during COVID. My kids were good. He [LeBron] was … somewhere doing something, and I would disappear into my bathroom.”
Savannah continued: “I’d just take a bath or watch a makeup tutorial, which I love so much, or just take time for myself and do something that I enjoy and that I felt like filled my cup up.”
In January 2024, paparazzi photos surfaced online that showed Savannah and rapper Pusha T seemingly creeping in Paris, France, while LeBron was at home in the U.S. with their children.
The pair were pictured together as they arrived in the SAME car (with her stylist) for a late-night dinner at Paris’ Costes restaurant. They departed at 3 a.m. in separate cars.
Pusha T was seen rushing to his car, while Savannah casually strolled out behind him. She was dressed in black leather pants, a long purple coat and a Chanel handbag.
The sighting was odd because Pusha T once suggested that LeBron had an affair with a popular influencer named Julieanna Goddard, a.k.a. YesJulz.
Years later, YesJulz broke her silence on the allegations, saying she worked in Miami as a party promoter when she and LeBron met.
Their steamy, but brief affair was mentioned in a rap song titled “Popular Demand” by Pusha T and No Malice (Clipse), featuring Cam’ron and Pharrell Williams.
The song featured the lyrics:
-
Heard that she f***ing LeBron, but s**t, I don’t know
Like that, Bron-Bron? I had that long time ago
Butt-naked on the balcony at the Dolla-no
I mean the Delano, I mean, Pharrell’ll know
