Rapper Lil Durk celebrated Father’s Day with his children. No one knows how many biological children the Chicago native has. But he claims 10 kids in the photo.
Other media outlets say he has six kids. The two mixed children, Angelo (3rd from left) and Bella (far right) are his oldest by ex-girlfriend Nicole “Nikki” Covone. The youngest girl (in front) is his daughter with longtime fiancée India Royale.
The former gangbanger, born Durk Derrick Banks, recently won a Grammy Award, which somewhat legitimized him in the music industry. He is not a household name due to his history of gang violence.
Nearly all of Durk’s friends and family members were killed in gang wars in Chicago.
The 31-year-old rapper fled to Atlanta in 2014 after his cousin OTF Nunu, also known as Nuski, was shot and killed.
Trouble followed Durk to North Georgia, where he was targeted in a home invasion. Durk and India exchanged gunfire with the home invaders. No one was injured.
On March 27, 2015, his manager, Uchenna “OTF Chino Dolla” Agina, was killed.
On November 6, 2020, Lil Durk’s artist King Von was gunned down outside a hookah lounge in Atlanta.
On June 6, 2021, Durk’s brother, Dontay “DThang” Banks Jr, was shot and killed outside of a Chicago nightclub.
Rumor has it that Durk spends more than $100,000 a month on Secret Service-level security to protect him and his extended family.
