Jay Z is still getting backlash after rapper Kendrick Lamar announced he will perform during halftime at Super Bowl 59 in New Orleans.
Nicki Minaj shaded Jay Z for choosing Kendrick to perform instead of New Orleans native Lil Wayne.
In a series of tweets on X (formerly Twitter) on Monday, Nicki called Jay Z “spiteful & evil”. She also called him a “bitter old hater” and “c**n.” And she referred to his wife, Beyonce, as an “ugly laughy taffy alien.”

In a follow-up tweet, she added: “God forbid if Wayne was to leave this earth right now, the culture would be in mourning. New Orleans rap legend Master P wrote an open letter to Jay Z, the NFL, and the mayor of New Orleans to complain about leaving Lil Wayne out of the Super Bowl halftime show.
In his letter, Master P told the NFL, Jay Z and Mayor LaToya Cantrell that Lil Wayne is a better choice for the Super Bowl since he’s from New Orleans.
Master P was disappointed that Jay Z, who produces the Super Bowl halftime shows, chose an outsider to perform in his city.
The recording executive stressed that Lil Wayne should at least be included in Kendrick’s Super Bowl Halftime show.
