Usher reportedly postponed the opening concerts of his “Past Present Future” tour in Atlanta due to a neck injury.
However, insiders say the shows were postponed due to low ticket sales.
Atlantans are more concerned with the rising costs of rent, gas and groceries than paying for expensive concert tickets.
Ticket prices for the postponed shows ranged from $199-$886 each. The most expensive tickets were $886 for front row seats. Many VIP pit (standing room only) tickets were also available for $750 each.
An insider told Sandrarose.com that Usher heard his fans’ complaints and he reduced ticket prices for the rescheduled Atlanta shows.
For example, front row seats at State Farm Arena for the Dec. 9 show are now $450 instead of $886. And tickets that were $750 are now $350. The cheap seats are now $129 instead of $249.
There are still hundreds of tickets available for all 3 rescheduled Atlanta shows.
