The hunt is on to “name and shame” the female celebrity who allegedly stood passively and watched Jay-Z and Sean Combs assault a 13-year-old girl.
RadarOnline.com can reveal a frenzied “witchhunt” is underway online to identify the mystery “Celebrity B” in the bombshell lawsuit against the billionaire rap mogul.
The as-yet-unnamed star is mentioned in court papers filed by “Jane Doe” that graphically describe how Jay-Z (born Shawn Carter) drugged and r*ped the girl at a private house party following the MTV Video Music Awards in NYC in 2000.
Jane Doe is considering filing criminal charges against Jay-Z in Manhattan. That means Jay-Z could share a jail cell with his pal Sean Combs at the federal Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn.
The lawsuit was originally filed against rap mogul Sean Combs in October. Combs, 55, was arrested in New York in September on human trafficking charges.
In an emotional statement issued on Sunday – hours after the lawsuit was amended to name him, Jay-Z called the allegations “idiotic” and “a shakedown.”
He vowed not to pay his accuser “ONE RED PENNY” and he said he and his wife Beyonce would sit down with their three children to explain the allegations.
The news comes as photos resurfaced online showing Jay-Z and another woman holding up an apparently inebriated Beyonce as they left a 2005 Vanity Fair Oscar Party in Hollywood, California.
Fans speculate that the mystery “Celebrity B” is pop superstar Beyonce.
A source with knowledge of the case told RadarOnline.com: “This is very dangerous territory. “Trying to ‘out’ this un-named celebrity is something that can destroy lives and cause real damage.
“Until the lawyers handling this case decide to name her, or she comes forward, online users need to be very carefully both ethically and legally.”
Jay-Z’s accuser is not a celebrity. In her lawsuit, she claims she banged on the windows of limousines parked outside Radio City Music Hall where the VMAs were being held on Sept. 7, 2000.
A limo driver for Sean Combs gave her a lift to a house party about 20 minutes away from Radio City Music Hall. The driver allegedly told the girl she was Combs’ type.
