Social media users are reacting to photos that show President Joe Biden biting several babies at a White House Halloween party.
Videos and photos of Biden biting babies went viral on social media on Wednesday, Oct. 30. White House staff transformed the South Lawn into a Halloween wonderland with candy and activities for families, local students, and children of military families.
President Biden greeted a line of children and parents and distributed candy in signature White House wrappers.
As photographers and videos captured the scenes, Biden bit a baby’s thigh, put a child’s toe in his mouth and nibbled at a third baby wearing a blue dress.
Biden dressed up as himself in a blue suit and blue and white striped tie. The first lady Jill Biden wore a panda costume.
The scenes drew humorous reactions and rebuke from Republican influencers on social media.

Conservative commentator Benny Johnson tweeted: “Apparently Joe Biden is biting babies at The White House this evening.” His post had been viewed 740,000 times by Thursday morning.
Jenna Ellis, a suspended lawyer who used to work for Donald Trump, posted an article of Biden biting a baby on X, writing: “How is this real?”
Kylie Jane Kremer, one of the organizers of the “Save America” rally on January 6, 2021, wrote on X: “Someone call 911 immediately JOE BIDEN JUST BIT A SECOND BABY AT THE WHITE HOUSE This is NOT a joke. He stuck this second child’s foot in his mouth three times!”
