Rachel Lindsay, of “The Bachelorette”, was ordered to pay her ex-husband $13,000 a month in alimony.
Last week RWS reported that Lindsay’s estranged husband, Bryan Abasolo, rejected her offer of $10,000 a month in alimony. Instead, the chiropractor demanded $16,000 a month.
According to In Touch, Abosolo, 44, told the judge he needed spousal support to move out of their marital home.
After hearing from both sides in court, the judge ruled in Abosolo’s favor. Lindsay, 39, is ordered to pay $13,000 a month in temporary spousal support. Additionally she must pay $15,000 for Abosolo’s legal fees and $5,000 for a forensics expert.
Abosolo won Lindsay’s heart in season 13 of “The Bachelorette” in 2017. They were married in 2020. They announced their separation earlier this year.
Lindsay, an attorney in Dallas, was the first Black woman to be cast as lead on the show.
Abosolo is a chiropractor and former clinic director in Miami, Florida.
He demanded $16,000 in alimony because $10,000 is not enough for a new mortgage, utilities, car payments and insurance in Miami. After paying his monthly bills he will barely have enough money left over to eat out once a week.
