The ex-wife of NHL star Evander Kane has publicly revealed herself as one of Sean Combs‘ earliest sëxual assault accusers.
Evander Kane and Anna Kane posed for photos at the 2019 ESPYS in Los Angeles on July 10, 2019. Kane and the Edmonton Oilers forward were married from 2018 to 2021.
Anna Kane was the fifth accuser to file a lawsuit alleging the music mogul sëxually assaulted her at his NYC recording studio when she was a teenager.
Kane originally filed a lawsuit against Combs in December 2023 under the fictitious name “Jane Doe.”
In her lawsuit, Kane claimed she was a 17-year-old schoolgirl in the 11th grade when Combs forced himself on her at his Daddy’s House Recording Studio in Manhattan in 2003.
She also accused former Bad Boy Records president Harve Pierre (left) and a third, unidentified man of gang raping her in 2003.
Kane said she met Pierre at a Detroit, Michigan, lounge, where he invited her to fly to New York City on a private jet to meet Combs. Pierre allegedly called Combs on the phone and handed the phone to Kane to convince the teen to fly to New Jersey, according to the filing.
Pierre allegedly told Combs Kane was “hot”. He told Kane he wanted her to meet his “best friend” and “brother” Combs.
Before leaving the lounge, Pierre allegedly took her into the bathroom, where he smoked crack from an aluminum can and then forced her to perform oral sëx on him, the suit claims.
Kane accompanied the two men on a private jet to New Jersey’s Teterboro Airport, the NY Post reported.
Kane alleged that she was plied with drugs and alcohol when she arrived at the studio, TMZ reported.
“While Mr. Combs was raping Ms. Doe, he complained that he could not ‘get off’ unless she pinched his nipples as hard as she could,” the lawsuit stated. After Combs finished, he allegedly watched as the other men took turns with Kane.
“She could barely stand up following the gang rape, and had to be helped to walk out of the building and back into a car,” the court documents state.
The lawsuit included photos of Kane, her face blurred, sitting on then-34-year-old Combs’ lap.
Another photo shows Kane wearing headphones in a recording booth. She stored the photographic reminders of that night in her personal photo album.
Kane claims she has a hazy memory of flying back to Michigan.
Kane originally filed her lawsuit anonymously. But a Manhattan judge ordered her to publicly identify herself or the lawsuit would be tossed out.
“I had hoped to use a pseudonym in pursuing justice for what happened to me as a teenager,” Kane told Page Six in a statement via her attorney Douglas Wigdor.
“Defendants’ demand that I use my name was an attempt to intimidate me, but I am not intimidated. I am prepared to proceed and hold accountable those who have harmed me,” Anna Kane said.
Combs faces dozens of lawsuits filed by women and men who claim they were drugged and sëxually assaulted by the Bad Boy Records founder decades ago.
