Sean Combs’ ex-girlfriend Jennifer Lopez checked her cell phone for updates on Combs’ after his arrest on Sept. 16. Combs lost his appeal for bond on Wednesday. Combs’ lawyer Marc Agnifilo says he will ask the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals to overturn Judge Carter’s ruling and release Combs to home detention.
Combs is currently being held on a special unit at Brooklyn Metropolitan Detention Center, part of the Federal Bureau of Prisons.
Lopez, 55, and Combs, 54, dated from 1999 to early 1991. Lopez and Combs broke up after they fled a shooting at a Times Square nightclub. Charges against Lopez were dropped, while Combs was acquitted of all charges after a trial in March 2001.
