Last week, Elon Musk held a demonstration for his Tesla “Optimus” humanoid robots at Warner Bros. studios in Los Angeles.
Rapper Slim Thug shared a video from the demonstration that shows a humanoid robot helping out in the kitchen.
In a voice over, Tesla founder Elon Musk says his Optimus robots can do anything you want. “So it can be a teacher, babysit your kids. It can walk your dog, mow your lawn, get the groceries. Just be your friend, serve drinks, whatever you can think of, it can do.”
Elon concludes by saying, “I think this will be the biggest product ever of any kind.”
“I’m looking forward to this free time that come with having a robot and being able to live a real life and spend time with family,” he said during a recent Instagram Live. “I’m looking forward to good help. Real help. Help without an attitude.”
Slim also posted a video of Chinese robotics companies that are challenging Tesla’s humanoid robots. China’s robots are more technologically advanced than Tesla’s robots.
Slim captioned the video, “This might be better.”
Elon’s robots will cost $20-$30,000 each. But the Chinese robots start off at a more affordable $16,000.
Slim said robots don’t have “feelings” and, unlike women, are not “trying to take me down.”
“A lot of women scared too, fellas because that’s the little sh*t they do, this robot is finna do that sh*t. They going to have to really come with something now. I got a robot cook for me and clean and do all that so what I need you for?”
Slim also thinks robots will replace women in the bedroom — and do a better job there too.
“What you think them girl robots going to be able to do?” he asked. “You know that Elon and them got something good for us. if not Elon, China.”
