Beyonce’s mother Tina Knowles defended Kelly Rowland after her viral incident at the Cannes Film Festival on Tuesday.
Kelly attended the red carpet premiere of the French film “Marcello Mio” when she got into it with a Cannes security guard.
After the woman apologized for stepping on Kelly’s gown, the American actress told her “It’s Ok. Don’t worry.”
Seconds later Kelly turned and pointed her finger at the woman. An expert lip reader says Kelly told the woman, “Don’t talk to me like that! You’re not my mother. I told you not to talk to me like that.”
The next day Kelly fought back tears while explaining her side of the story to the Associated Press.
Kelly, 43, pulled the race card by saying she was treated differently than other woman on the carpet.
