V-103 radio host Big Tigger announced he’s expecting his first child at age 51. Big Tigger made the announcement on his Instagram page on Tuesday.
He captioned the post: “So you’re having my baby. Super Proud to announce I gotta lil one on the way.. #BabyLoading #March2025 #Baby #Daddy #Father #Fatherhood #Blessings #BTMS.”
Tigger didn’t name the expectant mom, but his followers say this is the proud mommy-to-be.
We don’t know why Tigger is trying to conceal her identity. The list of possible reasons include:
1. She’s married to someone else
2. She’s also 51
3. She’s young enough to be his daughter
4. She’s a stripper
5. She’s a co-worker
Big Tigger isn’t the only man waiting until his twilight years to be a first time dad.
A lot of men wait until they get their AARP cards to father their first child. Rapper T.I.’s late dad fathered him when he was in his 60s.
And rapper GloRilla’s dad was in his 50s when he fathered her. It’s a blessing when older men are still able to sow viable seed.
Big Tigger’s followers were happy for him.
One follower wrote: “Congratulations! I’m so happy for you!!!”
A man wrote: “Welcome to the club sir.”
A third person wrote: “Big Daddy Tig!”
Big Tigger is best known as the former host of BET’s “Rap City” and “106 & Park” TV shows on BET. He was replaced by Terrence J as host of 106 & Park in 2006. Tigger got his first radio gig in Washington, D.C. while attending the University of Maryland.
Despite the plethora of teh ghey rumors that dogged him throughout his career, Big Tigger has been linked romantically to Keshia Knight Pulliam, Keyshia Cole, and Karrine Steffans.
