A Florida rapper was shot and killed early Sunday morning while celebrating his 26th birthday in Tampa.
Charles Jones, who performed under the name Julio Foolio, was shot at a Holiday Inn after being kicked out of an AirBnB after a gathering exceeded occupancy limits, according to a statement from his lawyer.
Social media posts show Jones promoting the pool party at the home in Tampa Saturday afternoon.
The statement from the rapper’s lawyer said that the shooting was an ambush that took place in the hotel’s parking lot.
