Nigeria’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, called out American celebrities after Meghan Markle’s recent visit to her country.

Meghan is married to England’s Prince Harry. They both abandoned their royal duties and are living in exile in California.

The Duchess of Sussex, 42, spoke about her Nigerian heritage during their 3-day trip. Meghan’s mother is Black and her father is white.

Senator Oluremi Tinubu, wife of President Bola Tinubu, targeted Meghan in her recent speech to the West African country.

Tinubu encouraged young African women not to emulate the “nakedness” they see in American culture.

For the most part, Meghan dressed respectfully in Nigeria. But she wore a strapless dress to attend a volleyball march on May 11. She also wore a red dress that looked similar to lingerie.

Tinubu didn’t appreciate the princess showing so much skin around young African girls who are taught to preserve their modesty around men.

“We have to salvage our children,” the First Lady said. “We see the way they dress. We are not having the Met Gala. And everyone, the nakedness, is just everywhere and the men are well-clothed.”

“Tell them we don’t accept nakedness in our culture. That is not beautiful. It’s not beautiful at all,” Tinubu added.

“Why did Meghan come here looking for Africa? That is something we have to take home with [us]. We know who we are. Don’t lose who you are,” Tinubu said.

Tinubu said Black American women are beautiful, but she suggested they are lost because they’ve forgotten their heritage.

“They’re all beautiful girls, but they should be confident in who they are. We are fashionable, we see what is going on.”
