Piers Morgan Apologizes to Beyonce & Jay Z for Having Jaguar Wright On His Show

Piers Morgan, host of “Piers Morgan: Uncensored,” apologized to Beyonce and Jay Z for giving a platform to troubled R&B singer Jaguar Wright.

Wright has made a name for herself by spreading malicious gossip about celebrities over the years.

Many were surprised when Morgan invited Wright on his show to discuss the Sean Combs case.

Real journalists and honest bloggers don’t take Wright’s rants seriously.

Jaguar took the opportunity to describe Jay-Z and Beyonce as a “nasty little couple” who allegedly drugged people and held them against their will.

After the segment, Attorney Ariel Mitchell-Kidd advised Wright to seek legal counsel, because she could be sued for slander.

A week later, Morgan said Wright unexpectedly made salacious allegations about Jay Z and Beyonce that simply were not true.

Morgan issued a public apology to Beyonce and Jay Z, saying:

“Jaguar Wright unexpectedly made several serious allegations about Jay-Z and Beyoncé during that interview. As I said, in the moment, they were not present to respond or defend themselves. But now they have. Their lawyers contacted us to say those claims were ‘totally false and have no basis in fact.’”

Morgan added that he would comply with the lawyers’s request to cut Wright’s inflammatory comments from the original interview.

“Editing interviews is not something we do lightly on a show called ‘Uncensored,’” he said. “But… there are legal limits on us too, and we apologize to Jay Z and Beyonce.”
