It is being called the greatest political stunt in American history. Former President Donald Trump clocked in to work at a Pennsylvania McDonald’s franchise on Sunday, Oct. 20.
The 78-year-old presidential candidate looked exhausted when he showed up for work at a McDonald’s in Feasterville-Trevose, PA.
With just 15 days before the election, Trump has been hitting the campaign trail without rest.

After clocking in, Trump took off his signature blue suit jacket and put on a McDonald’s apron. He immediately got to work as a fry cook before working the drive-thru window. Trump was a fast learner who quickly got the hang of making fries and taking fast food orders.
An Indian couple was among the first to greet Trump on his first day at work. They showed their excitement, telling Trump, “Thank you for taking a bullet for us.”
Two McDonald’s customers come up to the drive up window to see President Trump greet them, and then drop this absolutely amazing line:
“Mr. President, thank you for taking a bullet for us.”

Trump was grazed by a bullet during a campaign rally in Lancaster, PA. on July 13. He was scheduled to speak again at a rally in Lancaster on Sunday.

“I tell you what, it’s a great franchise, it’s a great company and they’ve been very, very nice,” Trump told reporters during a break in his work day.
Trump pointed to thousands of his supporters lining the street outside the restaurant. “Look at the crowd over there. Look how happy everybody is,” he said, as the crowd cheered.

Trump has long challenged Vice President Kamala Harris’ claim that she worked a summer job at McDonald’s. Harris said she worked the cash register and made fries in 1983 when she was an undergraduate at Howard University.
But reporters have been unable to confirm her employment at a McDonald’s in the Washington, D.C. area in 1983.
Harris pushed back against Trump’s accusation.
“When Trump feels desperate, all he knows how to do is lie,” Harris campaign spokesman Ian Sams told Business Insider. “He can’t understand what it’s like to have a summer job because he was handed millions on a silver platter, only to blow it.”
McDonald’s customers and employees complained about the stunt after Trump’s visit. They criticized McDonald’s for allowing the Republican presidential candidate to campaign at a restaurant.
CNN claims McDonald’s corporate office didn’t give Trump permission to work the drive-thru at one of its restaurants. But the franchise’s owner did give Trump permission.
McDonald’s clarified in its memo that Derek Giacomantonio, the franchise’s owner and operator, was approached by local law enforcement about Trump’s request to work at his restaurant and Giacomantonio agreed.
