The drought is over for Jennifer Lopez. The 55-year-old actress is reportedly falling head over heels in love with her handsome bodyguard.
An insider tells Radar Online that Lopez is “secretly falling in love” with her tall, dark and handsome bodyguard. The source said Lopez and her bodyguard aren’t officially dating yet.
“Jen is not actively dating right now, but that doesn’t mean she can’t have fun,” the source said.
The source added: “She’s flirting where it’s safe to flirt and of course she’s attracted to the guy, but mostly she knows that it will drive Ben [Affleck] crazy.”
Lopez and her bodyguard were spotted together during recent outings in London. Jennifer and her bodyguard linked arms while leaving the “Unstoppable” special screening in London on Nov. 5. He appears to be 2 decades younger than she is.
During another outing 2 days later, they were seen leaving her hotel together. Jennifer wore an animal print designer outfit from head-to-toe.
The news comes just months after the pop singer filed for divorce from actor Ben Affleck.
Another source told Woman’s Day that Lopez didn’t want the divorce, but Affleck moved out of their marital home, which left her no choice but to file.
“She didn’t want this divorce, but Ben’s always been the type to run from his problems. In her mind, a little flirting will redeem her image – after all, Jen is always the dumper, not the dumpee.”
Last month, during a chat with Interview magazine, Lopez said being single is uncharted territory for her. But she wanted to live her life as a single mother of 2 before jumping back into a relationship right away.
She admitted that being single made her feel “lonely, unfamiliar, scary, sad” and “desperate”, and she added “being in a relationship doesn’t define” her.
Lopez said at the time: “When you sit in those feelings and go, ‘These things are not going to kill me,’ it’s like, ‘Actually, I am capable of joy and happiness all by myself.’”
